We agreed to disagree, as brothers sometimes do, getting started on music sets we couldn’t agree ha-ha, but always in the end, we worked it out!
Here is Money Money, after several stops and starts, and funny discussions we get on with the song! A back and forth session on USSR haha, eventually getting through the song. Hope they give you a laugh.
Dave was determined to get ” Fat Bottom Girls” figured out, And I was as well. We played some for awhile, and neither of us had all lyrics! So we stopped and then since had my Kindle , we looked up the lyrics. But then who would hold the kindle so we could see the lyrics and play LOL? So you hear some discussion about where to put the kindle, and how we can look at it while playing LOL. Was first time we played it.
Mic out moments
While we were celebrating and played at Doris’s Birthday Bash, the sound had went out on David’s mic. We had an extra mic setup for a guest to come up. But as you can see we had some issues haha.
It was later, after the Good Hearted Woman, that I learned his mic was not working right. Because you find out here on our other songs, that he did not always sing, and sometimes let me sing alone. So this was a moment we laughed about later on.
David had messed with the mic problem, and I later messed with it, and finally we got some sound 10 minutes later! Mary had joined in on the fun on Good Hearted Woman, and Walk of life during the mic out moment. You can still hear him in Good Hearted Woman but just not good. During Walk of Life, when he went by the amps/mixer, he was looking over the song list of what he had in mind to play, and was asking Mary what she liked to sing. I joked and laughed with him later of how he could be looking over song lists, and still be playing the song in rhythm at the same time! I can never say enough he was so very talented as a musician. He could play that guitar though! We got the mic working after, so he could do Cripple Creek, and it is under Dave’s Favs.
Not a lot from the B Day bash as the camera was not fully charged LOL, and we only got about 20 minutes in before the camera went dark. We played often on until dark and
was so much fun that day.
We did a Birthday Song for Doris at her B-Day Bash as Fairgrounds on Stage and Mary joined in the fun.
Here is a short collaboration of brothers during a session
