Welcome to the River Lot page.
Below info is what you will find here.
Check it all out and hope you enjoy!

- Dedication to Rick
- Singalong fun, Rick really enjoyed, and helped out on most!
- Introductions, and announcements from Dave
- Some Funny Moments from Rick
- Performed some songs
- Instrumentals we did, and a lot of fun
- We had an amp acting up, and some muffling, but hope you still enjoy. Can hear Dave better, my feed was muffled. Seemed the one amp would overheat after awhile and cause distortion, but there is still enough good stuff to enjoy here.
This page and music is dedicated to my best friend Rick Williamson, a great friend and is missed everyday. This is a picture of him being funny, and a way I like to remember him.

Sadly, we lost Rick Nov.20, 2019
For those that did not know him, I can tell you that Rick always made everyone laugh, and was a great best friend. Always joked, and everyone loved his company. Rick was an avid lover of music also, and a big Waylon Jennings fan. He would spend his spare time listening to music, and have his records playing at his home. And he had a great record collection. If you went to his home, he’d have the stereo playing some great music!
Wish had a picture of him, from the river lot. But back then , we just had fun, drank some beers, took the boat out, or fished, and when Dave came we played music. Never time for pictures I guess.
This is the only recording from the river lot that survived!
Playing music at my best friend Rick’s River lot on the Shenandoah River, was the best times. David and I would setup by Rick’s RV facing the river. Sometimes some of Rick’s family would be there, and a friend once in awhile would show. Just remember playing with the cool breeze from River in summer, and the moon shining sparkling on the water. Rick would have the fire pit going, and Rick’s sons Matt and Tyler would fish, or take the boat down the river, and come back awhile. David and I would setup under the RV awning, and blasted our music! Sound is not the best, Had an amp acting up that night, and unfortunately voice muffled on some of the songs. I’m sure some of the sound carried over into the nearby campground, for the tubers floating downstream, and for all by low water bridge to hear.
David and I really enjoyed playing there on weekends- all you can see is black screen, and faint reflection of fire pit, it gets real dark there in Bentonville VA! Just like CCR sings in Green River, take me back……
Hope you enjoy this too!
-Forever will miss you Rick, and David!, gone from this earth way too soon 🙁
thank you for these memories!

Singalong fun
So much fun down by the river! – mic muffled on some reminder sorry! But we had a lot of fun! Dave and I got a lot of help singing most of these songs, Rick joined in a lot! and love his commentaries!, and is so great to listen back on all of this. Hope you enjoy too!

Some songs from the river lot, the amp was acting up and some distortion. Sorry again, on the audio muffle on some, but we had a lot if fun! Dave’s “Sunday Morning Sidewalk” brings me so much joy when I hear him sing and play it!
